Train all aspects of dribbling in freeplay. Helpful for all skill levels.

DESCRIPTION

This plugin works in freeplay only.

DribbleTrainer contains training features for multiple aspects of dribbling:

  • Dribble Mode: automatically resets the ball onto the player's car when it hits the ground.
  • Flicks Mode: automatically resets the ball onto the player's car when they flick it a certain distance away. Logs the speed of the flick before resetting.
  • Catch Training: launches the ball at the player's car from random angles.

Ball resetting works similar to the ballontop command that comes with BakkesMod, but this plugin takes the momentum of the car into account to calculate the ideal position of the ball when resetting.

For ease of use, click the "Dribble Trainer Binds" button in the quicksettings tab. This will set the DPad buttons (or 1-4 on keyboard) to the most useful binds from this plugin:

  • [1 | DPad UP] - "DribbleReset" - Resets ball on car.
  • [2 | DPad LEFT] - "DribbleRequestModeToggle dribble" - Toggle dribble mode.
  • [3 | DPad DOWN] - "DribbleRequestModeToggle flick" - Toggle flicks mode.
  • [4 | DPad RIGHT] - "DribbleLaunch" - Launch ball for a catch.

Dribble Trainer installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

Dribble Trainer installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
