Boost Roulette
Russian roulette, but with boost. Everyone loves RNG in their competitive games.

What is this?
When you pick up boost, there is a small chance it might backfire and blow you up! Now you have to decide if getting that boost is worth the risk or continue alive without it.
By default, the demo chance depends on the type of boost:
- Big boost: 1 / 6 = ~16.7%
- Small pads: 1 / 28 = ~3.6%
You can easily change the probabilities in the plugin window.
Is it safe to use?
Yes, but don't just take my word for it; the nice BakkesPlugins staff has verified it. The code is also open-source if you want to take a look for yourself :D
Have you downloaded this plugin before?
I rewrote the plugin in C++ (originally in Rust) for better QOL for the users and support.
The auto-installer, plugin manager, etc., should all work now with the C++ installer.
If you are not sure which version you have installed, uninstall it and install this one.
How to Use
The Boost Roulette plugin is disabled by default. To enable it:
- Open up the BakkesMod window (F2)
- Go to the
Pluginstab - Click on
Boost Roulette Plugin - Click the checkbox under
Enable Boost Roulette Plugin- This window is also where you can change the probabilities of demos on pickup for each boost type.
Now, it should work!
