DESCRIPTION

Syncify

A plugin that displays the current song you are listening to on Spotify.

Features

  • Displays current song title and artist
  • Control media (Play, Pause, Next, Previous) - Soon

Setup

  1. Head over to Spotify Developer Portal
  2. Create a new "App"
  3. Fill out the app information as required. Name, Description
  4. The redirect URL is -> http://127.0.0.1:8080/callback
  5. Which API/SDKs are you planning to use? Select "Web API" and "Web Playback SDK"
  6. Agree to the TOS and press Save
  7. Copy the ClientId and Client Secret into the text fields in the plugins settings window
  8. Press "Authenticate" and your browser will open asking to authorize with Spotify.
  9. Press Accept and you are done!
  10. If you don't see the Song Display make sure you are in a game (can be any game mode just not in the main menu)
  11. Still don't see it? Make sure "Show Display" is enabled in the settings.

Syncify installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

Syncify installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
