Custom boost recharge mode for Freeplay and Workshop maps

DESCRIPTION

BoostRechargePlugin

Custom plugin for BakkesMod that allows you to constantly recharge a given amount of boost at a desired time interval.

Manual:

  1. Copy BoostRechargePlugin.dll to /steamapps/common/rocketleague/Binaries/Win32/bakkesmod/plugins
  2. Copy boostrechargeplugin.set to /steamapps/common/rocketleague/Binaries/Win32/bakkesmod/plugins/settings
  3. Add plugin load boostrechargeplugin to /steamapps/common/rocketleague/Binaries/Win32/bakkesmod/cfg/plugins.cfg

Commands

boost_recharge - Set to 1, to enable. Will automatically disable unlimited boost. Set to 0 to disable.

boost_recharge_amount - The amount of boost you want to get every time it triggers.

boost_recharge_interval - The time interval (in seconds) at which you want the boost to be given.

boost_recharge_groundonly - Only recharge boost while the wheels are touching an object.

boost_recharge_max - The boost will only recharge up to this maximum value and not above.

Boost Recharge installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

Boost Recharge installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
